It is widely used in machine tools, engineering machinery, ships, die-casting and metallurgical equipment. The working pressure of medium and low pressure vane pumps is generally 8MPa, and the working pressure of medium and high pressure vane pumps can reach 25MPa to 32MPa. The disadvantage of vane pumps is that they are more sensitive to oil pollution than gear pumps, and require higher oil cleanliness; and due to the influence of vane ejection force, oil suction speed and wear and other factors, the speed of the pump should not be too high, nor should it be too high. Small, generally can be used in the range of 600~2500rpm; the structure of the pump is also more complicated than the gear pump.
Vane pumps are mainly divided into two forms: single-acting (perfect suction and discharge of oil once per rotor revolution) and double-acting (suction and discharge oil twice per rotor per revolution). Compared with the single-acting vane pump, the double-acting vane pump has better flow uniformity, and the radial hydraulic pressure on the rotor body is basically balanced.
